Pesto Grits and Pesto Pasta and Garlic Bread and Yummy Salad and Honeydew

Instructions

Pesto

1. Combine all  ingredients in a food processor until nuts are ground.

2 Pesto should still have texture and not be completely smooth. Add more salt and pepper to taste

Bread

1. Preheat oven. Cut the bread in half horizontally. Mix buttter, garlic and parsley together in a small bowl.

2. Spread butter mixture over the two bread halves.

3. Place on sturdy baking pan and heat in the oven for 10 minutes.

4. Remove pan from oven and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over bread if you want. Return to oven on the highest rack and broil on high heat for 2-3 minutes until the edges of hte bread begin to toast and the cheese (if you are using it) bubbles.

5. Watch very carefully while broiling. The bread can easily go from untoasted to burnt.

6. Remove from oven, let cool a minute. Remove from pan and make 1-inch slices. Serve immediately.

Dessert

1. Honeydew chopped up with lime and mint for dessert.
